Purple Vienna Kohlrabi is a unique heirloom in the brassica family. Originating from Austria, this kohlrabi is known for its vibrant violet color and sweet, crunchy, slightly nutty flavor.
When planted near tomatoes, lettuce, and peppers, kohlrabi can help repel harmful pests such as aphids and attract beneficial insects like ladybugs.
Kohlrabi is a must-have in our home and can be eaten raw or cooked. Our favorite ways to eat it are raw, dipped in ranch or hummus, and as part of broccoli salad, but we also like it roasted and in stir fry.
Starter will be in a 4" reusable nursery pot.
