Also known as Welsh onions, green onions, Japanese onions, spring onions, and scallions, the Evergreen Bunching heirloom onions are perennial non-bulbing alliums that produce year after year.
These onions are cut and come again. Trim the onion greens down to a couple of inches tall for onions throughout the year. Plants are very cold, hardy, and disease-resistant and can easily overwinter for a springtime harvest.
Onions are excellent companions to nearly everything in the garden due to their ability to deter pests and improve the flavor of neighboring plants. Plant them anywhere you like except for by peas, pole beans, bush beans, and asparagus, as they don't grow well when planted nearby plants in the onion family.
Starter will be in a 4" reusable nursery pot.

Orders over $200 can be scheduled for free, front-door delivery to Monroe County, MS. customers. We'll also have a few delivery drops in North Columbus and Tupelo and are happy to meet customers with any order size at our drop locations.
