Blue Curled Scotch kale is a large-leaf heirloom variety that produces many, dark greenish-blue, tightly crinkled leaves per plant. The leaves are sweet, tender, and crunchy, especially after cool weather. It can be traced back to ancient Scottish and Irish civilizations.
Plant with vining beans, peas, or cucumbers, which protect them from the summer heat. Strawberries and roots like onions, radishes, carrots, and beets are friendly companions to leafy greens. Mix lots of flowers and herbs in the bed to ward off insects and attract beneficial ones. Most herbs work well with and compliment leafy greens.
Starter will be in a 4" reusable nursery pot.

Orders over $200 can be scheduled for free, front-door delivery to Monroe County, MS. customers. We'll also have a few delivery drops in North Columbus and Tupelo and are happy to meet customers with any order size at our drop locations.
