Kura
KURA
Imported Female
Marina's (Kura's mother) ancestors lived their lives protecting their nomadic shepherd's flocks in Nakhichevan. During the war of 1988, the shepherd had to flee for safety and ended up in Artsakh, where the shepherd's family has lived since. In the fall of 2020, attacks against Artsakh forced the family to again flee from imminent danger. They relocated to a small village in west Armenia. Not long after, Marina had Kura and siblings. We are so thankful the family was able to escape with their lives and also able to save these incredibly rare Gampr lines. She is a rock on our farm as piglet and baby goat babysitter.
