In February 2020, we imported this handsome boy and named him Kasagh (pronounced Kah-zahk) after the Kasagh River and Canyon. The River begins at Aragats and flows south, just like the route his mom, Gazan, took in 2018 when she moved from Aragats to a village outside of Yerevan.  Kasagh arrived in the US with two others who are part of the conservation effort to stabilize the gene pool.  He is gentle, quiet, and highly observant. Big puppy Aza is his closest friend, and Hasmik is a great mentor to them both.  Us humans are very important to him; he's eager to please and very content no matter what job he's given on the farm.
